Ultra Tech Machinery Appoints Scott Miller as Director of SalesCuyahoga Falls, OH (January 3, 2005) – Ultra Tech Machinery, a leading manufacturer of metal forming and machining equipment, is pleased to announce the appointment of Scott Miller as Director of Sales.

Miller brings to Ultra Tech over 24-years manufacturing experience. For the past 10-years, Miller has been directly involved in the sale of high-production machine tools. Miller also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Texas.

“Scott’s 20+ years manufacturing and sales experience is exactly what we were looking for to grow our sales team,” remarked Bob Hagarty, Vice President of Ultra Tech Machinery. “We’re building a team to meet the changing needs of our customers for specialized high-production machine tools. Scott possesses the expert knowledge to assist our customers in determining the best process and equipment for their specific application.”

Previously employed as National Sales Manager for a ThyssenKrupp subsidiary, Miller sold the first two 5-axis “Flex” machines in the United States to Delphi Automotive. This achievement contributed greatly to the company’s 2003 record-breaking sales success. Other sales “firsts” for Miller include the sale of the first flexible, high production equipment in Ohio, when he acted as Regional Sales Manager for Motch & Eichele Co., Eastlake, Ohio. Additionally, he was instrumental in the sale of the first rotary flex machine in 1996 to Harley Davidson, Milwaukee, WI, which has since resulted in Harley’s purchase of 10 more machines.
